Ata Health is supporting the U.S. CDC National Public Health Institutes Linkages Program to develop guidance and tools for NPHIs around the world to strengthen their coordination of essential public health functions and their collaboration with public health and non-public health organizations, for improved public health impact. Ata Health has led a multi-year body of research and expert consultation to develop first-ever CDC guidance on the subject of NPHI public health linkages, and is presently working on applied tools and technical support strategies for NPHIs in this area. Ata Health also conducted a robust literature review of the role of NPHIs in COVID-19, which was published in a 2023 CDC Emerging Infectious Disease Journal Supplement.
