Ata Health supports Turning the Page, a Washington, DC–based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening family engagement to advance students’ social-emotional development and educational attainment — both powerful drivers of long-term health outcomes. Through its five-part Parent Empowerment Program, Turning the Page equips families to build home libraries, participate in school-based workshops, receive individualized goal-setting support, engage in family museum visits across DC, and connect with networks of parents and community resources. Ata Health is designing the monitoring and evaluation framework for the program, developing study instruments, and leading implementation of the evaluation. We are producing actionable reports and evaluation materials that Turning the Page uses to refine program delivery, demonstrate impact to partners and funders, and strengthen its evidence base as it advances family-centered strategies that promote both academic success and lifelong health.
