Joe Mando is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt quality improvement and organizational capacity development professional with over 20 years of experience in global and domestic public health and health care settings. In global settings, he directed programs that provided support to ministries of health in Africa to use improvement methods in improving HIV, TB, MNCH, and patient safety outcomes.

In domestic settings, he supported primary care practices to use improvement methods in improving clinical outcomes while fulfilling pay-for-performance requirements. Joe supported governmental agencies, in the United States and local non-profit organizations in Africa to strengthen their operational capabilities. Joe has experience in working at local, state, and Federal levels of the US governmental system with experience in developing PEPFAR policies within the Federal government.
