Ata Health evaluated a virtual Community of Practice led by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative in partnership with the University of New Mexico Project ECHO, and funded by the Schmidt Foundation, to strengthen trauma care in conflict settings. The initiative brought together frontline clinicians and educators across Ukraine to transfer skills, share knowledge, and engage in real-time problem-solving to address war-related trauma affecting adults and children.  Ata Health designed the monitoring and evaluation framework, developed study instruments, and implemented a mixed-methods evaluation to assess reach, engagement, and impact. The evaluation generated actionable findings that organizers used to refine recruitment strategies, strengthen program delivery, and secure additional years of funding. The work also resulted in a peer-reviewed manuscript contributing to the evidence base on virtual workforce development in humanitarian contexts.
